IAG introduced a new low cost longhaul airline brand last month that will begin operations in June with flights from Barcelona to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Buenos Aires and Punta Cana.

Level’s two new Airbus A330s, fitted with 293 economy and 21 premium economy seats will be operated by Iberia’s flight and cabin crew from Barcelona.

Fares start from €99 one way with checked luggage, meals, seat selection and movie releases on IFE complimentary for premium economy customers.

Willie Walsh, IAG CEO, says Level, “uur fifth main airline brand, will connect to Vueling’s extensive European network on longhaul flights.”

“This is just the start. We’re really excited about the opportunities for expansion and we plan to bring LEVEL to other European destinations”.
