Arab Wings adds Piaggo aircraft to its charter fleet

Airline and charter passenger service provider, Arab Wings, has announced the addition of its first Piaggio Aero Avanti II aircraft to its charter fleet.

Featuring rear-mounted turboprops, the Piaggo features a maximum ceiling of 41,000 feet and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 350 mph.

Scheduled to be delivered early-2019, the aircraft is equipped with advanced technologies designed specifically to support medical teams and navigators during medevac operations.

Arab Wings is part of the International Wings Group, a full-service aviation company that offers charter services in turboprops, light, mid-size and heavy jet aircraft. Additionally, the company delivers aircraft sales, air-ambulance services, aircraft management, ground handling and consulting services.

To date, the company, which was formed back in 1975, maintains two maintains two other charter certificates for aircraft based out of UAE and Iraq under the names of Gulf Wings and Iraq Gate, respectively. Arab Wings works closely with the Queen Noor Civil Aviation Technical College (QNAC) and Royal Jordanian Air Academy (RJAA), as well as the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission to offer aviation training.
