MRO service provider StandardAero has increased the capacity and capabilities of its facility in Fleetlands, UK, in an effort to meet increasing regional demands.
Increasing capacity by 50% to support its TFE731 engine line MRO services, the company is now able to process engine overhauls.
Since the start of 2019, the company has also capabilities including technicians, tooling, workstations and hardware.
StandardAero has reaffirmed its commitment to continue investing into its PW300-series capabilities at Fleetlands by adding additional capacity for PW305, PW307 and PW308 engine model MRO services, which includes rental engines that have been procured to support operators who may not have OEM rental coverage.
Marc Drobny, president of StandardAero Business Aviation, said: “Operators are pleased with the quality service and in-region TFE capability provided at our Fleetlands UK facility.
“We are now working with our U.S. shops to adopt our FASTLANETM processes and are on a path to offer the same world-class turn times for TFE731 engine events at Fleetlands.”
StandardAero has reportedly completed more TFE731 scheduled maintenance events than any service provider in the world and surpassed its 20,000th event late last year.
The company is currently exhibiting at the 2019 EBACE event that is scheduled to run from 21 – 23 May at the Palexpo convention center in Geneva, Switzerland.
