Latvian airline airBaltic has appointed a new sustainability and corporate responsibility coordinator.

In the newly created role, Anete Vitjazeva will work closely with the company’s management to develop airBaltic’s sustainability and corporate responsibility projects.

Martin Gauss, CEO of airBaltic, said: “Sustainability and corporate responsibility are vital parts of our business and truly important to us. For several years we have implemented different initiatives towards more sustainable business operations, but now we are taking a step further to create new projects.

Anete Vitjazeva has built her professional career in legal, marketing and business fields.

She holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Latvia. Over the years Vitjazeva has gained international experience working as a paralegal and lawyer in several law offices.

In addition, she has developed knowledge in marketing and communication working as a marketing project manager. She has also been involved in several social projects.

AirBaltic serves over 80 direct routes from Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius, offering a variety of destinations across Europe, Scandinavia, the CIS and the Middle East.
