Dubai-based airline flydubai is introducing a new uniform for the first time since its inception in 2009. The new design will be worn by over 2,500 staff, including pilots, cabin crew, training, engineering and maintenance staff as well as members of staff at the airport and flydubai travel shops. The roll out of the new look later this year will coincide with the airline’s reveal of its first Boeing 737 MAX 8.
Flydubai teamed up with Dubai-based hospitality supplier A. Ronai LLC. to create the new look.
“The design takes into consideration the various working environments of the flydubai staff including varied climates, cultural and religious sensitivities, durability and practicality, versatility, cost-efficiency, as well as security, health and safety regulations,” said Jilly Sims, senior vice president of Inflight Service at flydubai.
