Ross Video will showcase a range of solutions designed to help broadcasters and those working in live production improve their workflow efficiency through integration, at CABSAT.

Under the heading “Smarter Production”, Ross Video will demonstrate how the Ross ecosystem of products can help content creators to achieve creative, business and technology goals.

Oscar Juste, director of sales for EMEA, Ross Video, said: “We have been talking about ‘smart production’ for some time now at Ross, but in many ways what we’re really offering is ‘smarter production. Content creators are actively seeking out ways to work more efficiently in the face of pressure on both Capex and Opex budgets.

“Given that Ross Video now manufactures almost everything needed within a live production environment – from cameras and graphics to servers and social media management – our job is to show how Ross products can simplify even the most complex of workflows, enhancing business agility and helping everyone work smarter and more profitably.”

Stuart Russell, Ross Video’s EMEA marketing manager, added: “This year Ross Video is a platinum sponsor of CABSAT and we will be delivering one of the keynote presentations.

“I think it’s important to focus on where manufacturers can deliver short and medium-term value to customers, especially as the debate around IP has died down and everyone has realised that the technology is not yet mature. It’s significant that the debate around emerging standards hasn’t really moved on much since last CABSAT and this fact validates our view that customers are often much more interested in the next 2-3 years than the 5 to follow.”
