The grand finale of this year’s FMX will include a screening of Marvel's Avengers: Endgame.
FMX, is an annual conference on animation, effects, games and immersive media organised by Filmakademie’s Animationsinstitut in Germany.
It is a forum for media creators to share insights into the latest creative developments of their productions and present cutting-edge tools and pipelines, fascinating real time technologies and innovative business models
According to a press statement, this year’s event, which will be held from April 30 to May 4 in Germany, will include presentations on Marvel's Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel.
Dan DeLeeuw, VFX Supervisor at Marvel Studios, and Matt Aitken, VFX Supervisor at Weta Digital, will discuss the visual effects planning in the pre-production of Marvel's Avengers: Endgame, as well as the complexities of live action photography, and execution of shots in post-production.
Also, VFX supervisor at Trixter, Janelle Croshaw Ralla,Dominik Zimmerle, and Oliver Schulz, VFX Supervisor at RISE Visual Effects Studios will share insights into the making of Captain Marvel.
“The central theme of FMX 2019, Bridging the Gap, will highlight worldviews and workflows that inspire exchange in the fields of animation, effects, games and immersive media,” the press statement said.
