ALC announces new localised content deals

Arabian Licensing Company (ALC), the leading Arab licensing company, has expanded its portfolio by signing new partnerships and renewing deals to meet the huge demand on the localized content in the Arab world.

The company, which is approaching its 40th anniversary, has recently revealed that it had signed contracts with a number of international companies to bring some of the most successful animated series to MENA in order to present new content that meets the Arab preferences.

Fayez Weiss Al-Sabbagh, the president of ALC, spoke about the new partnerships saying: “We are thrilled to be working with the best global entertaining companies, and we are also very grateful for our partners’ trust in our ability to provide memorable experiences to the Arab audience."

ALC has an excellent record with global brands including Sonic, Super Wings, ZAFARI and Candy Crush. Moreover, the company has recently announced its partnership with Pinkfong, a children's educational brand, to bring the phenomenal Baby Shark song to MENA.

Al-Sabbagh added: “last year was a fruitful year, full of making new partnerships and renewing deals. We are proud of our achievements and looking forward to go through new adventures in 2019."

Additionally, ALC has announced the latest product of its new collaboration with ToyPro, a Dubai based company specialized in creating, localizing and distributing toy Brands in MENA, which is a doll named HayatiGirl targeting Arab girls. The doll has become a phenomenon among girls in the Arab world after broadcasting its commercial song on Spacetoon T.V channel, and hitting over 20 million views on YouTube.

It is worth mentioning that ALC has entered a joint venture with Ink Group under the name of Inkalc to serve the Russian CIS, MENA and SEA regions, in addition to the Nordics, which will help clients to access all multiple markets from one source.
