Zain Saudi Arabia has expanded its LTE roaming coverage by signing agreements with over 120 operators worldwide.

The announcement comes in time before the Eid holidays, when many are expected to travel overseas.

Sultan Abdulaziz Al Deghaither, chief technology officer, Zain Saudi Arabia, said, “Striving to boost our position as a leading data service provider in the Saudi market, we’ve worked with operators from around the world to provide a consistence 4G experience to our customers while roaming.”

“This comes in addition to a Wi-Fi calling service, which allows customers roaming anywhere in the world to call and SMS with local rates. Zain is the first operator in the Middle East and Africa to launch this unprecedented initiative,” he said.

To view the list of countries included in the service, customers can send 'roaming' to 959, a company statement said.
