AkzoNobel, a paints and coatings company, launched its range of paints, primers and decorative finishes with the Dulux Professional range.
The range is being launched in the region for the first time, following its introduction across international markets.
Jeremy Rowe, managing director decorative paints for South East, South Asia and Middle East, AkzoNobel said: “With construction projects gaining pace in the Middle East, firmly backed by government spending and an increasing population, it is important to ensure that quality finishes are achieved with every project.
“The Dulux Professional range is designed to get the best results the first time, resulting in less time wasted from subpar finishes, which can occur when using inferior products.”
The Dulux Professional range can be tailored to meet the specific needs of a project.
The exterior Weathershield range offers protection for masonry, cement, and gypsum surfaces whilst the interior Diamond range consists of water-based formulations that are quick drying, low odour and have low volatile organic content (VOC) content.
The Diamond durability is said to help lower costs and meet sustainability targets by extending maintenance cycles.
Diamond Smartlight is produced using the LumiTec technology, which reflects more light in a room, resulting in a finish that makes rooms feel bigger and brighter.
The effect of this finish can also reduce energy consumptions and costs, by brightening the room with less need for artificial lighting.
Diamond Refresh offers odour neutralising, anti-formaldehyde finishing.
Neutralising formaldehyde, a common indoor air pollutant, also makes finishes more resistant to mould and fungus – ideal for Middle Eastern humidity and for indoor surfaces.
