Enabling works are underway for wasl Asset Management Group’s wasl1 project, a park side freehold master development in Dubai.
Phase 1 of the project will include the construction of the Park Gate Residences which will include 746 units of one-, two-, and three bedroom apartments as well as podium townhouses and penthouses.
Kele Contracting have been appointed to carry out works for Phase 1 of the project while Hills & Fort Construction LLC is site managing the infrastructure for the entire development, according to a press statement.
Hesham Al Qassim, CEO of wasl Asset Management Group, said: “We are especially proud of this project, which is our first master development and reflects Dubai’s vision for the freehold sector.”
Located adjacent to Zabeel Park, wasl1 will feature several amenities including a swimming pool, children’s play area, gym, and a multi-purpose hall.
The project will also include a landscaped area between the podiums, water features, a terrace with cafés and restaurants, and nearly 2,300m2of leasable retail space.
In June, wasl Asset Management Group announced the development of accommodation facilities for hospitality staff near the Expo 2020 site in Dubai’s Warsan area.
The Warsan project will include 26 buildings in a resort-style lay out, providing hospitality employees with 3,866 residential units spread over a built-up area of 241,547m2
