ADNOC Distribution has announced that it has opened a new service station in Sharjah.
The opening of Al Meedan Service Station is reportedly part of the company’s efforts to further consolidate its presence in the emirate and meet the growing demand for high-quality products and services across the UAE.
With the new service station, ADNOC Distribution’s total number of service stations in Sharjah is now at 89, according to UAE state news agency, WAM.
Commenting on the new facility, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, acting chief executive officer of ADNOC Distribution, said: "The opening of Al Meedan Service Station in Sharjah is the latest stage in our strategic drive to expand and consolidate the presence of ADNOC Distribution’s service station network across the country.”
He added: "As the exclusive distributor of petroleum products in a dynamic and rapidly growing region such as Sharjah, ADNOC Distribution is determined to secure its market position through sustained hard work and a proactive approach.”
In 2016, ADNOC Distribution completed the implementation of the asset transfer agreement it signed with Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC). As part of the agreement, the company reopened 20 non-operational service stations in different parts of Sharjah, WAM added.
