eHosting DataFort (eHDF), a provider of managed hosting and cloud infrastructure services, has announced launching its Cyber Defense Centre (CDC), in Dubai Internet City.

According to UAE state news agency, WAM, customers can expect the centre to provide them assistance covering the complete security lifecycle. The centre’s services reportedly include log collection, network access control, advanced sandboxing, remediation, and incident response.

The centre also offers incident management, which gives a single dashboard of a customer’s security posture, attacks, and incidents, eHDF noted.

Yasser Zeineldin, CEO of eHDF, commented: "eHDF’s CDC deploys advanced security intelligence and automation tools to help identify threats more quickly and with greater accuracy and precision.

“Our CDC teams deliver threat hunting services using a combination of threat intelligence and end-point technologies that allow us to detect more complex threats that may be dormant in a customer’s environment."

eHDF also recently launched real-time threat monitoring (RTTM) services, which involve the collection and direction of customer data to a security information and event management solution. The collected data is then analysed by experts and, based on the findings, customers are appraised of and provided with short and long term remedial solutions, eHDF explained.

Zeineldin added: "Security is a key focus area for most enterprises today. In fact, many of our customers have shown interest in managed security services, and this led us to launch the CDC.

“Our CDC is manned 24x7 by a team of security experts. As a managed services provider in the UAE, the launch of the CDC was a natural extension of our services, and we aim to serve customers from government, media, construction, real estate, electronics, communications, banking and finance, automotive, and retail sectors."
