Construction Week and Taylor Sterling Associates will soon launch BuildingMENA, the first website in the region to solely list vacancies in the construction and engineering sector.

The launch of the website’s beta phase will coincide with Construction Week Awards 2017, which will take place at Rixos Premium Dubai on December 6.

Construction and engineering firms can list their latest vacancies on the website, and job seekers can use the platform to build CVs and profile pages, which can be easily searched by prospective employers.

The portal will allow organisations to upload video profiles, which will enable them distinguish themselves from the competition as employers of choice.

The platform will also enable firms to leverage the extensive research of Construction Week and ConstructionWeekOnline.

With 46 annual printed issues, 59,000 daily e-newsletter readers, 20,000 app downloads, and more than 57,000 followers across various social media channels, the Construction Week brand is the Middle East’s largest industry-specific media outlet.

Commenting on the ever-increasing market need for a sector-specific job portal, Marcus Taylor, managing partner of Taylor Sterling Associates, said, “In the MENA region, it is estimated that there are more talent requirement in the construction and engineering industry than in the next top five industry sectors combined.

“Employers operating within the sector have been waiting for the introduction of an industry-specific job portal for many years. With this in mind, we have assembled a fantastic team from ITP Media Group’s Construction Week brand and the multi-award-winning construction-sector recruitment specialist, Taylor Sterling Associates, to design a tool perfect for the MENA region’s construction and engineering sector.”
