Wyndham Hotel Group has announced that it will be developing the 189-room Ramada Riyadh King Fahd Road in Saudi Arabia.
The hotel will be developed in cooperation with Riyada International Hotels & Resorts, master franchisor of the Ramada brand in Saudi Arabia, and Concept Towers Real Estate Limited.
It will be the city’s 18th hotel under the group's portfolio of brands, which already includes 12 operational hotels and another six under development. Ramada Riyadh King Fahd Road will become the 11thRamada hotel in the country.
With 84 suites and 105 standard rooms in total, Ramada Riyadh King Fahd Road will have over 200m2of meeting space, an indoor pool, spa, and a gym as well as three food and beverage outlets.
It is expected to open in 2020, according to Ignace Bauwens, regional vice president Middle East and Africa at Wyndham Hotel Group.
"Continuing to grow the Ramada brand in Saudi Arabia... will further enhance our reach in this fast-growing market, as well as across the entire Middle East region,” he added.
Saudi Arabia will see a record 68 new hotels and 29,033 hotel rooms open across its major cities in 2017, according to a report released earlier this year.
