Details of the second phase of a renovation project planned for Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre have been revealed.
Phase 2 of the renovation project will cover 350 rooms, which are "being upgraded in stages to avoid affecting guest experience and business levels".
Leisure facilities in the complex are also included within the renovation plan.
Upgrade works have been implemented across two of the hotel's pool areas.
The renovation's first phase saw the hotel's "traditional lobby area transform into a modern and stylish environment".
Commenting on the renovation project, Shaun Parsons, general manager of Le Méridien Dubai Complex, said: "We are very excited to unveil this enhancement to our iconic property – it has been months in the making for the whole team involved.
"Due to our location, the hotel is very popular among business travellers, [and is] also a prime spot for visitors looking for cultural diversity within the region."
Le Méridien Hub, a global brand within Le Méridien's portfolio, has also been launched at the hotel.
The space will host art exhibitions, Le Méridien said in a statement.
A "comprehensive refit" was implemented for the hotel's Yalumba restaurant last year.
