Oman Drydock Company appoints chief executive

Oman Drydock Company (ODC) announced the appointment of Said bin Homoud Al Mawali as the new chief executive officer of the company.

Al Mawali will be replacing Stephan Aumann.

Before joining ODC, Al Mawali was providing leadership and governance for the executive management of Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO) since February 2014, Times of Oman reported.

Commenting on his appointment, Al Mawali said: “I am excited to take on the role of CEO at ODC and work with the new management team that will lead the ship repair services in Oman into the future." 

He added: "The prospects for ODC are bright and I look forward to use the collective experience of the ODC team to deliver excellence in marketing, projects execution, financial sustainability and in general any focus area that make our customers more satisfied.”

Al Mawali holds Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Imperial College London.
