Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek has completed a multi-million renovation programme across its rooms and hotel façade.
The refurbishment project included all 288 rooms, suites, and corridors, and took nine months to complete, according to Hotelier Middle East.
The hotel’s meeting room facilities were revamped with six new meeting rooms added to support increasing demand. The exterior façade has also been refurbished, as well as the hotel’s F&B outlet, Fish Market.
Maria Tullberg, the hotel's general manager, said: "The hotel has such a rich history and we are delighted to complete the modernisation of the hotel, while ensuring our signature service and authentic experience remains.
“We were careful during the renovation to retain the unique historic characteristics of the hotels, while fully upgrading all of the rooms and the hotel façade. We look forward to welcoming guests to the new look Radisson Blu Dubai Deira Creek.”
Opened in 1975, the hotel has implemented sustainable features in the redesign, including recycled key cards, LED lights, and water mindfulness systems throughout the building.
The ventilation system has been upgraded, and the balcony doors have been enhanced to improve sun protection and reduce noise.
The guestrooms feature new interiors complemented by designer furniture, lighting and carpeting, as well as more than 600 locally inspired artworks.
Additionally, the rooms will offer 55-inch Apple TVs with IP TV systems, which can be connected across all devices.
