A total of 94 projects from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the UAE are competing for honours in this year’s edition of annual MEED Projects Awards.
A press release said that the annual MEED Projects Awards, held in association with Mashreq, will see finalists competing in 16 different categories.
Winners will be announced on May 2 at the Westin Mina Seyahi in Dubai.
The event his year has seen a 24% increase in the number of short-listed organisations. UAE leads the region with the most number of finalists (54), followed by Oman (16), Saudi Arabia (12), Kuwait (9) and Bahrain (3).
Becky Crayman, programme director, MEED, said, “The 2018 awards programme saw a 24 per cent increase in short-listed organisations compared to the 2017 edition. This is a testament to the quality of completed projects being delivered across the GCC.”
