Legal advisory services have been delivered for a 1.1ha residential development under way in Oman.
Aflaj International, a Muscat-based developer, is building the homes within Muscat Hills, an integrated tourism complex in the sultanate.
Dentons has advised Aflaj on its role in the project.
Aflaj is a shareholder of Maysan Properties, a company that was established earlier this year to carry out the development.

In a statement, Dentons said it advised Aflaj on both the establishment of the project company and the related joint venture agreement.
Recently, Dentons also provided legal counsel to a syndicate of regional banks led by Mashreqbank on the Islamic financing of the proposed $272m (AED1bn) acquisition of equipment rental company Byrne Group.

Saudi-owned Itqan Investments, with Tamar VPower Energy Fund, a vehicle jointly managed by Hong Kong-based power company VPower Group International, and China-based CITIC Pacific, acquired the entire issued share capital of Byrne Equipment Rental and its subsidiaries.
