The Gems Wellington School in Dubai’s Al Barsha went into lockdown when an intruder allegedly entered the premises early on Wednesday morning.
All students were immediately reported safe and parents were immediately notified to collect their children.
Dubai Police said that "the school management seems to have rushed sending messages causing unnecessary panic among parents."
Parent were given access to the school’s premises once authorities completed their initial investigations.
The compounds were opened little after 12 noon.

According to a tweet by the Dubai Police, a Latin woman, in her 30s, used a parent access card to enter the school and performed a suspicious activity on the premises before leaving the location. Police said that she left a detergent bottle in the school.
After questioning the mother, police stated that she had entered the premises with a medical mask on and cleaning gear with the intention of teaching the workers how to clean the school.

The woman ( a parent in her 30s ) entered the school wearing a medical mask and carrying some cleaning powder and detergents in a bid to participate in cleaning the school and show the school’s cleaners “how to clean properly”.
