Ejadah’s Mohammad Khreisat swoops Young FM of the Year

Ejadah’s Mohammad Khreisat was recognised as the Young Facilities Manager of the Year 2019 at the 12th edition of FM Awards.

Khreisat, who graduated from Faculty of Engineering Technology at Al-Balqa Applied University, joined the company in 2016 as the assistant manager, and in two years was promoted to the position of facilities manager.

Speaking on his win, Khreisat said: “I would like to thank everyone from our company who have believed in me my abilities and supported my work.”

I have shifted from the construction sector to facilities management and I took the challenge and try to be more advanced than the client and be more customer-oriented,” added Khreisat, while talking about overcoming challenges.

Khreisat’s advice for fellow facilities managers was to be “constantly motivated and to be positive.”

Other facilities managers who were shortlisted for the award included Basem Abu Sneineh from Bee’ah, Henson Sylvster D’Souza from QBG FM, Prijin Philipose from Apleona HSG UAE, Sangeeta Coomaraswamy from Grako and Umit Demirel from Cleanco.

Henson Sylvester D’Souza of QBG Facilities Management won the highly commended award for the category.

D’Souza was lauded by the jury for his ability to analyse the market in Oman and offer services that QBG Facilities Management’s competitors were not offering, which lead to organic growth of business.
