Dubai-based Danube Group has created a new company called Danube Hospitality Solutions to supply and design bespoke furniture for hotels.
The newly-created business will supply top hotel rooms with furniture, flooring, case goods, soft furnishings, and fixtures, as well as make bespoke items upon request from clients.
It will also connect consumers with tableware, glassware, kitchenware, and storage solution partners, such as faucet maker Milano and Crystal.
In the next three years, the company hopes to have between 45 and 50 projects ongoing. In five years’ time, the business wants to become Dubai’s market leader in hospitality solutions.
Shubhojit Mahalanobis has been named director of Danube Hospitality Solutions – the latest vertical in Danube Group, operational across building materials, retail, real estate, manufacturing, home furnishings.
He said he was “thrilled” to enter the market to capitalise on “the growing trend of new properties coming up in the region”.
The new company has a team of five interior designers, all of whom are specialised in hotel design.
Adel Sajan, director of Danube Home, told Commercial interior Design they had been recruited from procurement companies, consultancies and interior design agencies – although he didn’t say which ones.
“We also have a team of consultants and fit out specialists on board so that we can truly provide end-to-end turnkey solutions under one roof.”
Danube Hospitality Solution’s has already linked up with a number of high-profile hotel brands, but due to commercial sensitives these cannot be named at present.
