UAE declares November 9 a holiday

Saturday, November 9, has been declared an official bank holiday in the UAE to mark the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed.

An update from the UAE government confirmed the news in an update on national holidays for the public and private sector in 2019 and 2020.

The UAE cabinet approved and publicised national holidays for 2019 and 2020 on Twitter.

Remaining UAE public holidays include Commemoration Day on Sunday, December 1, and UAE National Day holidays on Monday, December 2 and Tuesday, December 3, according to Arabian Business.
