Taj has launched a new app that allows guests to book stays at all of its 100 properties.
The application can be downloaded on iOS and Android, and it has been designed to make travel planning easier for guests, besides allowing them to manage thier loyalty accounts, according to officials.
Guests can use the app to get quick access to the Taj InnerCircle sign-in, which helps them manage their membership accounts.
The app will compliment the hotel chain's mobile responsive website, which was launched in 2016.
Chinmai Sharma, chief revenue officer, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, said, "Nearly 50% of our guests are using a mobile devices to explore our hotels and destinations. Online and mobile are our fastest growing channels and we will continue to invest in this area with the goal of creating a consistent guest experience across all platforms. Our new app is another step in our digital journey which will only get better in its next release scheduled for later this year," said
The app will soon include mobile check-in/check-out, service chat, restaurant reservations and locale based promotions.
The hotel chain has announced that the first 500 guests to make a reservation via the app will receive complimentary breakfast and an upgrade to the next room category.
