Citymax Hotels has appointed Ahmad Taher to the role of hotel manager at the newly opened Citymax Ras Al Khaimah.
Taher graduated with a Hospitality Management degree from Rasheed Tulaa, Jordan in 2000 and more recently completed an MBA from the University of Northampton.
His experience involves being part of pre-opening management teams and F&B management, along with being a hotel manager. Taher has worked across a number of hotel operator groups including Kempinski Hotels, Hilton, and AccorHotels, among others.
Citymax Hotels chief operations officer Aly Shariff said in a statement: "We are always proud to announce about our key talent who have taken the succession ladder to leadership roles. We are confident that Ahmad is bringing a unique and expansive skill set to the role of hotel manager at Citymax Hotel Ras Al Khaimah and are positive that his 16 years of experience in the industry will be instrumental in creating moments for both team and guests."
Citymax Hotels, a part of Landmark Group, has a current portfolio of four hotels in the UAE and one in Egypt, with a further three properties opening this year – two in Dubai and one in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
