Sharjah plans to host 200,000 Chinese tourists by 2021

Sharjah plans to welcome 200,000 Chinese tourists by 2021, Emirates News Agency reported.

Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh, CEO of the Sharjah FDI Office told WAM on the sidelines of the UAE-China Economic Forum that the total number of Chinese tourists visiting the emirate amounted to 68,000 in 2018 and that Sharjah had further plans to increase that number by 2021.

He also revealed that the forum will increase the number of investment opportunities available to both countries.

Al Musharrkh added that the emirate’s developed tourism facilities make it an attractive destination for tourists from around the world.
