A new Spanish tapas bar, Nido, has opened at Sheikh Zayed Road’s Sheraton Grand Hotel.
The nightclub bar contains 12 tables, allowing for 70 seats. The eatery assures it is a casual dining experience based around traditional tapas.
Nido resides on the fifth floor of the hotel, though guests will need to speak at least one word of Spanish to the door staff to gain entry. Upon speaking some Spanish, visitors are granted access through a hidden entrance in the wine cellar of Moe’s next door.
The menu includes traditional dishes from Spain and South America including empanadas and chorizo gambas. Beverages on offer are sangrias, piscos, wines, beers and Latin-inspired cocktails.
Salvador Carrillo, chef of Nido says: “After months of creating a winning concept, with delicious new flavours for diners in Dubai to experience, we’re excited to finally open our doors to welcome guests on a journey from Spain to South America, to experience authentic, contemporary dishes, prepared with attention to every detail.”
