Morocco’s upcoming mixed-use development that includes a St Regis Resort Hotel, has appointed SSH as the lead design consultant.

Spread over 750,000 sqm in Marrakech, the five-star hospitality and luxury residential development includes golf-branded villas and apartments.

The first phase of the project, which consists of a high-end 18-hole golf course, has been completed. The second phase will consist of hospitality, residential, retail and landscape components.

The St Regis Resort Hotel will comprise 60 guest rooms, 20 villas, a ballroom, conference centre, restaurants and other leisure facilities, as well as separate branded villas.

The residential component will comprise standard as well as twin villas.

Speaking about the project, Danny Warde, marketing director at SSH said: “We are very excited to have been appointed as the Lead Design Consultant on this prestigious project. Our appointment to this development is not only a testament of our building design pedigree within the hospitality sector, but also confirms our commitment to Morocco’s architecture and engineering market.”
