These include a new and safety committee consisting of senior leadership and cleaning and sanitation experts from Ecolab and Diversey; new hygiene guidelines compliant with local government health regulations and the World Health Organisation; a Guest Guardian for internal audits; enhanced hygiene; sanitised airport limousine transfers; and check-in services with minimal contact and time in the lobby. The second hotel meanwhile was Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria in DIFC. Hilton’s hygiene campaign is called Hilton CleanStay, enacted across its global portfolio. )
Measures include a CleanStay Room Seal on the door to give guests peace of mind; extra disinfection to high-touch point areas; paper amenities such as pens, papers and guest directories supplemented with digital alternatives; gyms given clearer guidelines and a contactless check-in using mobile phones.
