Riyadh Travel Fair, the kingdom’s largest tourism and travel exhibition has been delayed for a second time this year due to the ongoing pandemic.

Initially slated for March this year, the event was pushed to September over health and safety concerns. Now a month before the event, organisers have decided to move the event to 2021 to ensure everyone’s safety.

The event will now take place on March 15 to 18, 2021.

ASAS Exhibitions and Conference Organising Company GM Bandar Al-Quraini explained: "While our travel partners and visiting public were looking extremely forward to another exciting edition of the Riyadh Travel Fair, our concern for public health and safety during this pandemic necessitated its second time postponement.”

He added: "We are now planning for the 2021 edition, and look forward to welcoming back all our travel industry partners and public then, once the health and safety of visitors can be fully assured and as always in accordance with Saudi government regulations and advisories.”

Attracting professionals from across the MENA region, Asia, Australia and Europe, the 2020 edition was set to see 275 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors.
