Deema Sartawi, director of marketing & communicationsWith experience spanning more than 10 years in the field of marketing, Sartawi has been the director of marketing and communications of Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana since February 2017, where she has actively participated in the pre-opening development of the two hotels located at Dubai Creek.She is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to ensure effective positioning and viability of the new properties, as well as building brand awareness and promoting customer loyalty through effective marketing campaigns and public relations.A Jordanian national, Sartawi joined Rotana in 2002, and has held various executive positions, including the cluster director of marketing and communications of Al Bustan Rotana & Al Murooj Rotana in Dubai, and the director of marketing and communications of Media Rotana in Dubai, among others. In addition, she managed a task force to assist the pre-opening of Burgu Arjaan & Tango Arjaan by Rotana in Istanbul, Turkey.Between 2008 and 2013, she has served Cosmopolitan Hotel, and Layia Hospitality in Dubai in a variety of roles, including the director of marketing and communications.
Diana Sutari, director of HRWith an extensive experience of nearly two decades in the hospitality industry, Sutari assumed her current role in August 2017.She is responsible for leading all aspects of the hotels human resources functions, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee engagement and welfare.Sutari has served the organisation in various capacities since joining in 1999, and held the position of director of human resources at several Rotana properties.An Indian national, Sutari worked at Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi between 2002 and 2003. She holds a Bachelors degree in commerce from MMK College, Mumbai.

Hussein Hachem, general managerAn industry veteran with nearly 40 years of experience, Hachem has overseen the pre-opening development of the two five-star properties. Hachem has been a part of Rotana for the past 25 years, and in his current role, he leads all aspects of the hotels' operations, including the management of guest relations, human resources, and communications, and develops and executes strategies to maximise sales and profitability of the properties. His journey at Rotana began in 1992 as the food & beverage manager at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, and later as the executive assistant manager of Al Ain Rotana in 1998. His first stint as a general manager was at Al-Sayeda Zeinab Rotana in Damascus Syria, before moving back to the UAE to serve in the same role at several key Rotana properties. Prior to joining Rotana, Hachem worked for multinational organisations in Abu Dhabi and Munich.

Pasquale Sipone, executive chefA hospitality industry veteran with more than 26 years of international culinary experience, Pasquale Sipone will head the hotels' five dining venues and creatively lead the culinary team to develop and execute concepts. In addition, he will oversee offerings for five-star hotels' in-room dining and banquets and catering services.An Italian national, Sipone has been with Rotana since 2005, and has contributed to the success of a number of other Rotana properties including Towers Rotana Dubai, Jumeira Rotana Dubai, Media Rotana Dubai and Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi.Sipone served as the Italian chef of Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa prior to joining Rotana. During his nearly three-decade-long culinary journey, Sipone has spent his time at several Italian hotels and restaurants, including Michelin-starred Ristorante Bacco, Barletta, Italy.Sipone was awarded the senior membership of Emirates Culinary Guild in October 2002.

Sako Mukhijan, director of business developmentWith more than 10 years of experience, Mukhjian, an Armenian national, is responsible for directing the development and implementation of strategic sales plans as well as identifying and leading business development, and alliance opportunities for the two hotels.He has served various executive positions at Rotana Hotels and Resorts, Dubai and the Northern Emirates, since 2008 where he most recently was the director of sales - national sales office.Prior to joining Rotana, he worked for several years at JW Marriott Hotel Kuwait City and Courtyard Kuwait City in various sales and front office positions.
