Marriott International’s annual charity initiative, Road to Awareness, is now in its tenth year, and is kicking off on October 12-14 in Jordan.

Preparing for the event involves a gruelling training programme, along with fundraising efforts, and it aims to make a positive difference to underprivileged children living in the communities that the group’s hotels operate in – all while encouraging associates to live healthier lifestyles.

Hotelier Middle East caught up with the hoteliers during one of their early morning training sessions at Dubai's Bespoke Ride, located in Al Quoz, to find out what the initiative means to them, and how the training experience has been.
