Intertek, a total quality assurance provider, has launched a production and integrity assurance workshop in partnership with Oman’s Daleel Petroleum. The event focused on key topics related to corrosion, production chemistry and integrity management of ageing assets.
Daleel Petroleum is involved in exploration and production and specialises in the appraisal and production of onshore hydrocarbon reserves. The workshop provided a platform during which Intertek’s technical experts shared knowledge with the Omani oil and gas production community and offered insights on producing hydrocarbons in a safe, reliable, profitable and sustainable manner.
Dr Jim Palmer, director of production and integrity assurance at Intertek said: “With these knowledge-sharing workshops, we are empowering the Omani oil and gas workforce and supporting it with tools and expertise that will allow it to achieve best-in-class performance.
