Saudi Aramco was honoured as the winner in the HSE Initiative of the Year category at the 2017 Oil & Gas Middle East and Refining & Petrochemicals Middle East Awards for its 'Predictive Personal Protective Equipment & Worksite Supervisory System (E-Factory)'.
The Awards ceremony took place at Four Seasons Hotel, Jumeirah Beach, Dubai, UAE, on 12 September 2017, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas industry professionals from the region.
E-Factory was praised and appreciated by the Awards judging panel as extremely innovative and visionary. Though the system is still in its early stages, this kind of creative thinking and development is what will transform the industry for the better.
