French Pavilion with 51 firms at ADIPEC to explore oil and gas opportunities in the Middle East

Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy, will be hosting 51 companies from France at ADIPEC 2018.

Business France will be hosting the French Pavilion in partnership with RACE (special cluster for cutting-edge energy, oil and gas and renewable energy from France), Axelera (competitiveness cluster involved in chemicals, environment) and EVOLEN (French association of companies and professionals related to the oil and gas industry and energy).

France recognises that ADIPEC is one of the world’s largest, most important and influential oil and gas events that brings together industry stakeholders and experts to share knowledge and exchange ideas. In recognition of the global significance of this event, France is once again committing its support by gathering French companies on a national pavilion in addition to new comers.

“ADIPEC is the ideal springboard to introduce French oil and gas companies to the region and we are proudly supporting the exhibition by bringing a large number of industry experts and innovators to showcase their products, services and know-know.France’s oil industry posts over 90% of its turnover abroad, making it the world’s second-leading exporter, tied with Norway and the United Kingdom,” commented Marc Cagnard, managing director of Business France in the Middle East.

“Bolstered by ambitious research and development programmes, the high technological expertise and innovation capacity of French companies account for the nation’s stellar performance,” added Cagnard.

With an estimated total value over $660bn for the 2015-2025 period, France will be providing solutions and services that meet operators’ needs, including the optimisation of tanks, development of reserves, precision tools for wells and surface units, facility surveillance equipment and systems, environmental protection, and more.

During the show, AUGIER Energy, locally represented by FALCOR Engineering, will be hosting a stand and will be revealing the company’s latest advancements in design of cost saving systems dedicated to power supply remote receptors in the oil and gas sites. Their international clients will also have a chance to discover the latest in economic and efficient solutions for all electrical power supply projects.

Key products and innovations AUGIER Energy will be showcasing include the installation of an intermediate voltage transmission network with 950V, 3,200V, 5,500V, and 6,600V, which reduces the cable cross-sections and costs, facilitates installation, and allows multiple receivers to be powered for distances up to 50km.

Additionally, powering pumps, sensors, lighting, signalling, video surveillance systems, radars over long distances and other solutions will be on display reinforcing AUGIER Energy’s expertise in the industry.
