BASF – a German chemical company and the largest chemical producer in the world – claims to combine economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility in its worldwide operations. The company operates six integrated production sites and 390 other production sites in Europe, Asia, Australia, the Americas and Africa. Approximately 122,000 employees in the BASF Group work in almost every country in the world.
