Batelco has partnered with leading games companies Valve and i3D.net to improve services for gamers in the country.
Under the two new partnerships, Batelco will have direct peering to Valve's Steam platform and i3D.net, to offer gamers low latency, high performance gaming.
Steam is the world's largest online gaming platform, and the agreement will provide direct peering with Steam to Batelco subscribers. Award-winning i3D.net specialises in low latency hosting for the online video gaming industry. i3D.net will provide online infrastructure services and managed hosting solutions to Batelco to improve services for gamers.
