Immensa Technology Labs has announced the launch of the UAE's first 3D printing facility in line with the Dubai 3D Printing Strategy launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Immensa's state-of-the-art facility houses eight 3D printing systems and offers more than 30 materials for production, the company said in a statement.
It added that the factory is equipped to build and manufacture production quality parts, components and one-off prototypes for customers across a variety of industries using technologies including selective laser sintering, stereolithography, extrusion, and material jetting.
The company said it also offers full consultation on the integration of 3D printing into manufacturing processes.
Fahmi Al-Shawwa, CEO of Immensa Technology Labs, said: "There are ample opportunities for organisations in the UAE to adopt additive manufacturing to enhance their efficiencies and competitiveness, and we are focused on providing world-class and viable 3D printing solutions.
"Our team is passionate about 3D printing, design and manufacturing, and we cover the entire process to help our clients at every step of the way, from design concepts and material options to technology selection, 3D printing production and post-production processing."
Immensa was established in 2016 to provide comprehensive solutions whereby 3D manufacturing can add value. The company is also committed to the research and development of 3D printing techniques, and has established its own proprietary techniques to fabricate and produce objects.
Al-Shawwa added: "We believe in the extraordinary potential of 3D printing and its myriad benefits across all fields of business, where it can reduce costs, redefine productivity and fuel innovation. We are pleased to be opening our doors and supporting the ‘Dubai 3D Printing Strategy', as we are confident that additive manufacturing is the next big step in the world of manufacturing."
