Hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions vendor Pivot3, has appointed Abdullah Hifzi as the new regional sales director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
In the role, Hifzi will be responsible for developing and driving Pivot3's hyper-converged data centre solutions across MEA, developing and building the channel partners network base, managing strategic technology alliances and helping customers achieve their goals in digital transformation.
Anand Chakravarthi, area vice president, MEA and APAC at Pivot3, said that: "We are excited to have Abdullah as part of our growing team in the Middle East. He has the right mix of deep technology understanding and business acumen to help Pivot3 grow our market share in the region."
Hifzi added that: "My main focus in this role is to plan and execute go-to-market strategies, align with CIOs, technology leaders and regional governments' vision in digital transformation. In addition, I will be spending considerable time building the channel ecosystem. I strongly believe that channel partners are the best ambassadors who can promote our unique technology to the market."
He explained that the company will provide every support needed to enable partners to work closely with Pivot3. "I'm very confident that Pivot3's unique HCI and intelligent software engine is an exceptional technology that will help partners to achieve rapid growth in the fastest growing software-defined anything market," he said.
Prior to joining Pivot3 in June this year, Hifzi had stints at Huawei and HPE in various sales, business development and consulting roles.
