STC has officially launched its cybersecurity training program for students.

The program was launched by HE Eng Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, in the presence of Nasser Al Nasser, STC Group CEO, and Abdulaziz Alruwais Governor of CITC.

The program aims to train more than 150 students in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar, in collaboration with two global leading companies in Cybersecurity learning. The students will go through a month-long training course with certification at the end.

The training program has been launched to build local professional capabilities in cybersecurity, based on best practices and global standards, STC said. It will help to meet huge demand for security skills in the Kingdom, and STC's own strategic growth plans.

Commenting on the launch, HE Al-Swaha said that the "objectives of the programs are compatible with the increasing demand for specialists in cybersecurity, as the services in the Kingdom witness an accelerating digital transformation in line with the Kingdom`s vision 2030."
