InfoFort has signed a partnership announced an agreement with the Canadian University Dubai (CUD) to train and provide job opportunities to students pursuing careers in information management and related fields.

The information management solution provider will offer the students hands-on training that focuses on developing their technical and business skills, mentorship from InfoFort’s senior executives, as well as an opportunity to enter the company’s internship programme.

As part of this agreement, InfoFort and CUD will also collaborate in applied research projects to help students advance their skills and knowledge in their chosen area of specialisation.

Professor Karim Chelli, President and Vice Chancellor of the University recognised Dr. Wided Dafri for piloting this initiative, having initially brought her students to InfoFort on a field trip. As part of CUD’s efforts to engage with the business community, he cited this initiative as a crucial element in supporting students get a head-start in their careers, with the needed knowledge to process digital information, quickly, efficiently and safely. “We are confident that this agreement will benefit both parties and we look forward to using InfoFort’s digital storage technology to improve the University’s internal archiving systems,” he said.

Abed Shaheen, CEO of InfoFort, said “This initiative goes far beyond a usual business agreement. We are thrilled to nurture the youth’s interest in technology and are devoted to applying our expertise in enlightening future generations. Inspiring the youth and fostering a strong talent pool is at the heart of what we do as a knowledge-based company.”
