Zulekha Healthcare Group is set to roll out a number of SAP applications to support and enhance its organisational efficiencies.
The company, which operates multidisciplinary hospitals, medical centres and pharmacies in the UAE and India, plans to deploy several SAP solutions to manage processes in different areas and to support staff in their jobs.
The SAP modules for various departments once implemented will ensure effective utilisation of resources in the right jobs at the right time. Be it billing, payroll, procurement, recruitment and hiring, workforce management and scheduling, medical interactions or even transportation.
Taher Shams, managing director of Zulekha Healthcare Group, said: "We want to be ahead of the curve and we have stepped forward to adapt newer technologies from SAP in our day to day operations, to leverage the knowledge of experts and equip our workforce with improved skills. The increasing amount of data calls for improved management systems that will enable effective analytics for decision making. I wish the teams the very best in taking the project forward in phases and look forward to achieving operational excellence, lesser wastage and reduced costs across functions."
Julien Bertin, managing director of SAP, UAE and Oman added: "Zulekha Healthcare Group is leading the UAE's healthcare digital transformation, and supporting the UAE Vision 2021 goals of providing world-class healthcare. By running on a real-time end-to-end digital platform, the group is ideally-positioned to gain innovative business insights that can optimize costs, operations, and patient care. Big Data analytics can help to deliver more personalised patient care, predict treatment success, and find, retain, and train the top talent in healthcare."
