The flagship killer has a flagship! OnePlus unveiled the latest 7 series devices which include three models, the OnePlus 7, the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G at an event held in Bangalore, India on tuesday.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also come in 6GB and 128GB specs as well. It's no slouch either, the storage is USF 3.0 making it faster than Samsung's S10 in terms of file and data transfer speeds so gaming's pretty much going to be a breeze on this device.

It's got a battery capacity of 4,000mAh. The Warp Charge 30 technology from the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is now in the Pro. So, we no wireless charging but OnePlus is of the mindset nothing beats wired charging for now. There's also no 3.5mm jack.

What about the inside ? OxygenOS has Night Mode 2.0 for low light reading, screen and simultaneous audio recording and if you don't want to use your OnePlus besides answering important calls, Zen mode comes to our aid. A chunk of the software is also dedicated to gaming, and rightly so, the mobile gaming economy in China, India and the Middle East are burgeoning.

There's improved haptics, a liquid cooling system and gaming optimizer. Say you want to drive all the processing for your favourite game, RAM boost does exactly just that. OnePlus also tied up with British esports organization, Fnatic to bring, Fnatic Mode, for hardcore games who want more than just gaming mode.

It will be available in "nebula" blue, "mirror gray" and almond brown colour schemes.

There's a lot to unpack about the OnePlus 7 after the 6T but it looks like the chinese company wants to make a strong statement with the 7 series.
