The city of Orlando in US recently achieved an historic milestone after it was revealed that the city received over 75 million annual visitors in 2018.

The record-setting figure, which translated to an increase of 4.2% over the previous year’s figures, secured the city’s position as the number one most visited destination in the US.

Visit Orlando, the region’s official destination tourism and marketing organisation, unveiled the news as part of National Travel & Tourism Week, which was attended by more than 1,000 tourism and community leaders.

Commenting on the achievement, Visit Orlando President and CEO George Aguel, said: “It was another record-breaking year for Orlando with both domestic and international visitation.
